All That Matters is Success in Life

Success is that threshold of life which puts every pain, every deliberate attempt, every dark episode and every criticism behind, basking one’s self esteem in the bright light of well deserved acknowledgement of one’s dexterity.

The world is definitely not an easy place to survive, and people who don’t just survive but excel in their field, making their mark and creating a success story for others to follow, definitely are subject to both adulations and envy of the mass, for achieving what others might just dream of.

Success brings with it power, fortune and recognition, but then every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Success brings with it some unwanted enemies, unwanted attention and constant public and media scrutiny of one personal and professional life. People who make it to limelight have to accomplish the rare talent of consciously hogging the limelight, and comprehending the reaction of public and media, before administering every move in personal and professional life.

Though it is often observed, that the success in professional life usually overshadows every personal shortcoming of a person, but occasionally the personal flaws might have a major impact on the success story of a person.
The surprising fact is, that inspite of the typical human behavior of indulging into strong criticism and enjoying the fall, or deterioration of a person, we still remember a person by his achievements and not his personal flaws.

For example, we remember the phenomenal football player Deigo Maradona for his excellent performance on soccer field, inspite of him being dismissed from the team for indulging in the use of drugs. His fans still pray outside the hospital where he is being treated for serious illness.
Michael Jackson is known as the ‘king of pop’ and inspite of him being involved in controversies, media allegations and unfortunate incidences where his personal flaws were publicly smeared on his pop star image, he is still acknowledged as one of the greatest performers and his fans are still crazy about him.

Every person has his strengths and weaknesses. Every human being has good and bad qualities. Weather he succumbs to his weaknesses, or his bad qualities count more than his good ones, at the end of the day all that matters is success in life. The brightness of success overshadows all the dark corners of ones personal life, and celebrates the tenacious journey of a determined human being on the pathway to success and glory.
